Your Go-To Skincare Compass: Simplifying Science, Amplifying Self-Care.

Hey there!
I’m Arya, the brain (and sometimes the guinea pig) behind this blog! I'll keep it real, cuz gone are the days when we spoke like 'robots' in the name of BRANDING! As a marketing professional myself, I feel humans are in more need of 'connection' than ever.
I started Skin Conduct out of the pure desire to bridge the gap between what skincare brands promise on their packaging and what they actually deliver.
Will it come off harsh if I say, 'I was sick of hearing people say chemicals are bad while the same people run for chemicals in the name of self care'???
I wanted people to TRULY understand how science in skincare works...including the nature-derived ingredients.
I wanted someone to talk about the ABSOLUTE REALITY of how this side of the world works.
Chemicals really aren't the bad guys & 'natural' ingredients don't work the way you think!
Although selfcare is equally important for everybody, still we can't deny from the fact that women are the main target consumers of this extremely visually-appealing industry & it has its ways of pulling the money out of our pockets.
| It's not a crime...until every label screams “miracle"
...every influencer swears by the “next big thing,” and then you end up with your bathroom shelves, fridge, dressing table & extra organizers full of products that are more or less the same thing, packaged differently.
I am a customer myself, I know!
That’s where Skin Conduct comes in. I am here to decode the science of skincare, helping you make informed decisions about what your skin truly needs. Whether you’re a skincare newbie or a seasoned enthusiast, this blog is going to be your one-stop guide to embracing the skincare-knowledge!
Read below to learn more about the idea! I hope you have a good time here :)
The idea behind Skin Conduct was simple....or at least I'll say so!
My ideology is that our skin is an armor, and armors need to be taken care of. They need to be cleaned, they need to be oiled and protected from rust just so that they can protect you too!
Same way our skin is an armor that protects us which makes it our duty to protect it.
But in the name of skin CARE, are we really taking "care" of our skin or are we just making it go through a bunch of experiments, ultimately confusing & breaking it? Skincare is supposed to be gentle.
So let's protect what protects us!
